New World Class Sales and Service Center in Taiwan Speech from Mark Flain (President of AVT Taiwan subsidiary)

Ladies and Gentleman I would like to give my sincere thanks to everyone here for attending the official opening ceremony of Alcatel Vacuum Technology Taiwan, new Sales and Service Center. It is a special day for us and a landmark event for Alcatel Vacuum Technology's future in Taiwan. Our Sales and Service Center was set up with a clear target of "World Class Sales and Service" and to that end, our facility is fully equipped with the latest equipment, for the sales and full service of all Alcatel's products. We want to achieve fast turnaround times for repair of our products, whist maintaining the highest quality standard. This facility definitely gives us this capability and to date we have made significant improvements with regard to the turnaround time of our products. I would like to thank Challentech and Alcatel France for setting up this joint venture and for giving AVT-T the funds to provide this excellent facility. Also I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank our employees for the significant efforts they have made over the last year to get us to where we are today and make this opening ceremony possible. It is not I that make the difference in AVT-T as I am just a catalyst to ensure the appropriate actions/reaction take place, it is our employees that do the real work and make our targets achievable. Once again, I would like to thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to visit Alcatel's newest "World class Sales and Service Center". We look forward to our companies working together in a long-term partnership for the benefit of all concerned.
